Educational Groups
THE ULTIMATE FIELD TRIP
Grow as Educators. Return Inspired.
The Nature Place partners with educational groups to support their continued growth, empowering individuals to become better leaders and educators. Our experiences provide time learning in a unique environment and give participants tools to return to their classrooms eager to share their growth.
From Insight to Action
Our partners have worked with us to craft programs that are impactful and energizing. School administrators have joined us for three day programs mixing in time in the conference room focusing on self-reflection with engaging, outdoor challenges that provide real-time examples of how individuals interact, problem-solve, and collaborate. Using learning tools like the Leadership Practices Inventory (LPI), groups develop common language and get to apply their learnings with their cohort as they progress through activities that are more challenging, culminating in a high ropes opportunity.
Take the Lead
Students engaging in MBA programs have also participated in multi-day experiences filled almost exclusively with team challenges. Insights Discovery provides the foundation of the opportunity for students to reflect on themselves, their styles, and preferences. This is in conjunction with their classroom time to better understand how they are and want to be leaders. While at The Nature Place, they get to apply these learnings in orienteering, a high ropes opportunity, and a business simulation, all of which are highly regarded by the faculty that instruct the students. These experiences are considered highlights by participants for their fun, engaging, and unique challenge.
The orienteering course was absolutely energizing for me. I now have a clear understanding of the differences and likenesses between me, and others. My patience has grown as I now take time to discover where others are on the 'map'. This was a very powerful training for me. Rich in benefits.
Keep Learning. Keep Growing.
The Nature Place serves as an outdoor learning lab for all demographics who are looking to continue their learning. Whether a current student or leaders in the field of education looking to enhance their skills, we can be partners in creating meaningful experiences to encourage further personal and professional development.
