Recreation & Adventure at The Nature Place

The Sportsplex houses our sauna, hot tub, exercise and weight room, and an indoor multi-use game court for basketball, volleyball, or tennis. We also have outdoor tennis and volleyball courts, a horseshoe pit, an outdoor amphitheater with fire pit for a sing-along or a casual meeting, and miles of marked hiking and biking trails through the forests and meadows of our privately owned 6,000 acres.

In addition to the incomparable opportunities for natural history exploration, with advanced notice, we provide a wide array of supplementary activities that can enhance your visit. We can offer as much or as little support as you would like. Some of the possibilities are: astronomy observatory, with one of Colorado’s largest telescopes; rock climbing; ropes challenge courses including a Zip Line; fishing; mountain biking; a guided naturalist hike; horseback riding or river-rafting with local outfitters.
